Hilary’s design work starts by looking beyond the obvious to ensure that her visuals are delivering against a client’s communications goal.

Approach

Hilary starts by asking the right questions, making sure the necessary research has been done before getting into the design phase of her projects. She doesn’t settle for the easy solution, but instead focuses on visually interpreting what the client is trying to say, creating designs and visuals that help those messages come to life for the audience.  

Background

Hilary has worked extensively in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and complex industries where visuals are integral to delivering a message. For the last 15 years, Hilary has designed for presentations, print, and the web.  She studied Business Marketing and Studio art, graduating Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She has a Masters degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.

Special Interests

Outside of work, Hilary spends most of her time with her family. She has been a little league coach and a soccer coach, and she serves on her local elementary PTA board. She enjoys spending time outdoors, as well as cooking, painting, and reading fiction novels. She has multiple Fantasy Football titles and has a talent for trivia -- especially including Greek Mythology.
