Agnes is an experienced medical writer with a strong background in biomedical research and clinical trial publications. She is recognized for her ability to understand and effectively communicate complex scientific results and their clinical application, in a clear and precise manner. Her research has spanned multiple clinical areas – with a focus on oncology and autoimmunity.  

Approach

Agnes starts projects by first researching the disease indication, followed by a thorough data review, and an assessment of novel aspects of the new therapeutic. She works collaboratively with clients to ensure key messages are clear and compelling, and that the FDA briefing document remains aligned across multiple communication platforms.

Background

Before joining 3D Communications, Agnes developed abstracts, oral and poster presentations for national and international medical conferences, and peer-reviewed manuscripts on clinical trial discoveries. 

Agnes holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a PhD in biochemistry, molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of California, Davis. Agnes enhanced her writing, collaborative, and clinical translation skill set during her post-doctoral position at Northwestern University initiating and managing two biomedical research projects.

Special Interests

Agnes is an avid supporter of science education for children, volunteering and holding scientific demonstrations for students in kindergarten through junior high school. She is an active volunteer leader of the UC Davis alumni group supporting environmental restoration efforts and women in STEM fields. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
