Contact ChrisChris is a biostatistician and epidemiologist who brings his experience in the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials to 3D Communications’ clients. He leverages his statistical expertise with excellent communications and medical writing skills to integrate complex data with key messages in sponsors’ regulatory submission documents and during regulatory meetings.

Chris is known for his hands-on approach to effective scientific communication. He works closely with clients and key opinion leaders to ensure that data are being presented in a clear and credible way that can be understood by a wide audience. His methodological research on endpoints and missing data informs how he explains analytic choices to regulators and advisory committees.
Background
Chris has expertise in the areas of study design, clinical trial methodology, and regulatory strategy. He previously served as director of regulatory affairs and interim head of biometrics at Pacira BioSciences. Earlier, he provided strategic biostatistical consulting in data analysis, regulatory submissions, and FDA negotiations as a senior medical biostatistician at NAMSA. His recent research on endpoint methodology and handling intercurrent events in pain trials was conducted under a research contract with FDA. He has published more than 25 manuscripts in peer-reviewed medical and statistical journals. Chris holds a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he remains an associate scholar in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He also holds a master's degree in biostatistics from the University of Minnesota.
