Jim DiBiasi is a co-founder of 3D Communications. Over the last 20 years he has guided more than 100 pharmaceutical and device companies through high-stakes FDA interactions and Advisory Committee meetings. He provides regulatory and commercial teams with both strategic and tactical leadership – leveraging his ability to cut through the complexities of science and nuances of regulatory issues to develop clear, impactful presentations.

He coaches clients to understand their audience’s perspective and use those insights to develop and deliver persuasive messages. As a Co-Founder of 3D Communications, Jim also drives the creation of 3D’s proprietary process, practical tools, and purpose-built technology to help clients succeed at regulatory meetings. He has earned a reputation for working with diverse teams and bringing out the unique talents and skills of each member.

Background

Jim has always been an entrepreneur who enjoys solving complex problems with creative solutions. He honed his communications skills as an executive responsible for legislative lobbying, public relations, and as a front-line media spokesperson for a Fortune 500 company. He has a strong background in business, finance, and accounting, working as a CPA, and owning a company that developed, financed, oversaw construction, and operated independently owned power plants. Jim earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from Villanova University.

Special interests

Jim has many philanthropic interests and is passionate about adolescent education. He has been a trustee for two school boards, helping guide the institutions through expansion, restructuring, and refinancing. He currently serves as a board member and secretary of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in the United States, a global framework for non-formal education dedicated to helping young people find their purpose, passion, and place in the world. Jim is also a wine enthusiast and collector who also enjoys cooking, sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.
