Approach
Katie approaches her dual role with a strong emphasis on the well-being and development of 3D employees, and a sharp eye on ensuring continuous improvement across operations. She leads onboarding and training of new team members, manages HR platforms and vendors, and collaborates with the research and business development teams to develop proposals, budgets, and responses to RFPs.
Background
Katie began her career with 3D as a member and later leader of the research team, where she identified trends and created custom reports to assist clients in meeting preparation. Before coming to 3D, she worked in event operations and online continuing education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from North Carolina State University.
Special Interests
Katie enjoys being an active member of the community. She volunteers at her church and is a supporter of the North Carolina Museum of Art. In her spare time, she likes spending time with family and friends, reading, visiting museums, attending concerts, and traveling.
