Background

Her master’s curriculum solidified her interest in evidence-based interventions and the research supporting their implementation. Kennedy interned at the North Carolina Public Health Association, and completed a pre-med fellowship in Portugal where she shadowed medical professionals and gained insight into the cultural nuances of healthcare. She holds a master’s degree in public health from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor's in psychology from North Carolina State University.

Special Interests

Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys live music, time with friends, traveling, and game nights. She’s an avid lover of her two black cats, the beach, coffee, and helping others. Kennedy aspires to lead an organization committed to addressing the challenges of food and water insecurity and health disparities in developing nations.
