Contact LaraLara is an experienced medical writer who uses her academic research background and strong technical writing skills to prepare regulatory documents – primarily FDA Advisory Committee briefing documents – for 3D Communications’ clients. Her ability to succinctly explain complex research and her attention to detail ensure that these important documents are accurate, clear, and thorough.

Background
Lara holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and a PhD in behavioral neuroscience from Arizona State University. While in graduate school, she authored numerous publications in neuropharmacology, as well as grant proposals, research protocols, and conference abstracts and presentations. After completing her PhD, she worked as a technical writer at SAS and an editor at American Journal Experts before joining 3D in 2014. She completed the Regulatory Affairs Certification with the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society in 2015.
Special Interests
Lara supports several charities and nonprofits, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Girls on the Run. When she is not busy working, she is an avid distance runner and enjoys yoga, reading, traveling, baking, and spending time with her family.
