Contact SusanSusan brings over 25 years of experience in clinical research, medical device technology, and regulatory strategy to 3D Communications’ clients. She is recognized as a strong leader who truly cares about her clients as she works collaboratively to guide them through complex regulatory scenarios.
Approach
Susan is trusted as someone who understands the science and can quickly identify what is most important to regulators. Her broad experience helps guide 3D’s clients through critical regulatory FDA and CHMP meetings, including analyzing the regulatory audience, setting regulatory and communications strategy, providing an objective review of data, and helping clients crystalize their key messages. Susan helps clients solve complex regulatory challenges by rolling up her sleeves to do what is necessary for a successful outcome.
Background
Before joining 3D, Susan held a variety of clinical research leadership positions at Boston Scientific and Medtronic. She has published more than 35 manuscripts in peer-reviewed medical journals. She holds a master of public health and a doctorate degree in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.
Special Interests
Susan enjoys public speaking and presents often to professional organizations on regulatory topics. She has served as president of a youth athletic club, helping the club evolve into a 503(c)7 organization. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Sabes Jewish Community Center, Minneapolis, and is currently a member of the Minneapolis P2G Committee, a partnership organization connecting Israelis with communities throughout the world with unique programs and one-on-one encounters. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with family.
