Eileen Fein, MS

"I’m passionate about giving patients, healthcare professionals, and communities a seat at the table and a feeling of empowerment in decisions affecting healthcare and access to life-changing products. For more than a decade, I have seen the positive impact these voices have on the FDA’s understanding and decision-making."

Contact Eileen

Eileen brings more than 20 years of experience as a communications and advocacy specialist to clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and public health arenas. She works with 3D Communications’ clients to engage with professional and patient groups and leverage that support throughout the product life cycle, including FDA Advisory Committee meetings and grassroots disease-education programs.

Eileen’s approach blends her unique background in public health, psychology, and communication strategy to support and motivate clients to deliver messages that give real-world context to complicated data. Whether working at Advisory Committee meetings with the FDA, CHMP, and Health Canada, or convening scientific advisory boards and roundtables with healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and patients to develop dialogue tools and white papers, Eileen brings people together to tell one strategic story through multiple voices.

For more than a decade, Eileen worked as a communication strategist at large public relations agencies, developing and implementing patient-education programs and issues-management programs. This included grassroots education programs for underserved populations as well as high-profile issues, working side by side with her clients to ensure their corporate reputation and commitment to patients led both strategy and approach. Eileen holds a master’s degree in clinical nutrition from New York University and a bachelor of arts in psychology from St. John’s University.
