Tomas Salmonson, PhD, MSc is a Partner at Consilium Salmonson & Hemmings in Uppsala, Sweden. He was the Senior Scientific Advisor of Medical Products Agency in Sweden until 2019 as well as the Chair of the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) for the European Medicines Agency (EMA) until 2018. Dr. Salmonson's research interests include pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, and regulatory affairs, as well as developing solutions for the design of challenging drug development programs, new regulatory guidance, and novel regulatory pathways and procedures.
