Background

Svea earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Duquesne University. Before joining 3D, she developed material for and oversaw the development of digital science textbooks. In this role, Svea transformed cutting-edge science publications into age-appropriate interactive articles for students. Svea gained a passion for organization during her experience in education and education management. In addition to teaching and curriculum writing, Svea worked as Dean of Students, creating a positive learning environment for students and staff. She leads others with understanding and compassion.

Special Interest

Outside of work, Svea actively participates in community organizations providing free education opportunities to students. She enjoys CrossFit and spending time with her family. Svea’s favorite place to read a book is on a plane traveling to visit a new city!
